Burn-XT Max and Burn-XT are both thermogenic fat burners sold by Jacked Factory. Burn-XT Max is the newer formula: its page says it takes the best-selling Burn-XT formula “to the next level” and lists MitoBurn L-BAIBA, rauwolscine and Huperzine-A alongside PurCaf organic caffeine. Burn-XT is the five-ingredient version, and the right pick depends on the label, the price you can manage and how you handle caffeine.

What is each product, and who sells it?
Jacked Factory sells both. Burn-XT Max's page describes it as a high-performance fat burner designed to boost metabolism, increase energy and help control appetite. Burn-XT's page calls it a clinically studied thermogenic fat burner and says “Tens of Millions of Servings Sold.” Set For Set, an independent review site, says Jacked Factory has been in existence since 2013.
To check the seller yourself, read its Terms & Conditions page and write to support@jackedfactory.com with any question before you order.
What is in each one, and how much?
Burn-XT Max's ingredient list gives these amounts:
- Acetyl L-carnitine HCl, 1,000 mg
- Green tea extract, 500 mg
- PurCaf organic caffeine, 250 mg
- MitoBurn L-BAIBA, 250 mg
- Rauwolscine extract, 1.5 mg
- Huperzine-A, 200 mcg
Burn-XT's product page lists these amounts per serving, which is two capsules:
- Acetyl L-carnitine HCl, 700 mg
- Green tea extract, 450 mg
- Caffeine anhydrous, 270 mg
- Capsimax cayenne extract, 50 mg
- BioPerine black pepper extract, 5 mg
Three ingredient types appear in both: acetyl L-carnitine, green tea extract and caffeine. Max's caffeine is PurCaf, and Burn-XT's is caffeine anhydrous. Max's page lists 250 mg of PurCaf without a serving size, so check the Max label for its serving size before you compare caffeine.
Set For Set's Burn XT review puts acetyl-L-carnitine at 500 to 2,000 mg a day, so Burn-XT's 700 mg per serving and Max's 1,000 mg both sit inside that range. Burn-XT Max's 1,000 mg also sits inside the Set For Set range.
Set For Set also says 250 to 500 mg of green tea extract a day is the recommended range for fat loss, and calls the caffeine dose of 270 mg per two capsules within the safe range for most people.
MitoBurn L-BAIBA, rauwolscine and Huperzine-A appear only in Max. Burn-XT Max's page describes MitoBurn as something that “helps to regulate your metabolism, and increases calorie expenditure.” It describes rauwolscine as something that “can help increase the amount of calories you burn throughout the day,” and Huperzine-A as something that “helps increase acetylcholine neurotransmission so you can focus and conquer your workout.” Those are the seller's words. Before you decide, ask Jacked Factory for the research behind these three ingredients, and ask a pharmacist about interactions with any medicine you take.
What does the research say about the shared ingredients?
Burn-XT's page says its formula is “Clinically Validated” with “Clinically Proven Ingredients.” Set For Set's review describes a 2023 study in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition on Burn XT. The review's own reference list names a 2022 paper in the Journal of Exercise and Nutrition instead. Check which paper the seller means before you rely on it.
Set For Set's review also says the study did not evaluate changes in body weight. Burn-XT's page (not the Max page) shows a chart from a 2022 Burn XT clinical trial that compares resting energy use at baseline, at 60 minutes and on placebo. That chart is the seller's own material.
On green tea, Set For Set's review says catechins, mainly EGCG, have been shown to promote a thermogenic effect. It says acetyl-L-carnitine helps move fatty acids into the mitochondria to be used for energy. Both are the review's description of its ingredients, not a claim about either finished product.
What are the side effects of Burn-XT?
Set For Set's Burn XT review lists minor, usually temporary effects: stomach upset, belching, gas and diarrhea. It says people who are sensitive to caffeine may get jitters, an energy crash, a faster heart rate and sleep problems at the 270 mg dose per two capsules. Burn-XT's page says that if you have any undesirable effects, you should stop use immediately and consult your doctor.
What are the side effects of Burn-XT Max?
The Burn-XT Max label says you may feel jitters and restlessness in the first few days as your body adjusts, and it says this “is a normal side effect.” Max gets caffeine from 250 mg of PurCaf, and its page says green tea leaves also contain natural caffeine. That means both products add caffeine from more than one source.
Who should ask a clinician first?
Set For Set says that if you take blood pressure medication, you should consult your health care professional before taking Burn XT. OneLeaf's guide to thermogenic fat burners says people with heart conditions or high blood pressure, and people who are pregnant, should avoid thermogenics, and it notes that caffeine may interact with some medications. If any of that applies to you, ask a clinician before your first dose of either product.
What should I avoid while taking a fat burner?
- Do not take Burn-XT Max on an empty stomach. Its label says never to, so take it with a meal and a big glass of water.
- Avoid taking Burn-XT within 4 hours of bedtime, and do not exceed the recommended dose, according to its page.
- Count caffeine across everything you take. The Burn-XT page says it can be stacked with Lean-XT and/or Lean PM, so add up the caffeine from each product you combine.
- If you get side effects, stop use and talk to your doctor, as the Burn-XT page advises.
- If caffeine is your main concern, read the fat burner stimulants guide before you choose a dose.
How much does each one cost per day?
Prices as of October 28, 2026. Check the checkout for today's price.
Burn-XT Max is $39.99 for 90 capsules, or $33.99 on subscription, which the page lists as 15% off with free USA shipping on recurring orders. The page also shows four payments of $10.00, and a code, EXTRA15, for an extra 15% off a first subscription order. At the label's regular use of 3 capsules a day, a 90-capsule bottle lasts 30 days. That works out to $1.33 a day one-time, or $1.13 on subscription.
Burn-XT's card on the Burn-XT Max page shows a sale price from $24.99 and a regular price of $29.99. Confirm the bottle size on the order page before you compare. If the card is for the 60-capsule bottle shown in Burn-XT's packaging images, the cost is $0.42 to $0.50 per capsule and $0.83 to $1.00 per two-capsule serving. At two servings a day, that is $1.67 to $2.00 a day, and the 60-capsule bottle lasts 15 days.
How do refunds, guarantees and shipping work?
The seller's Terms & Conditions page states a general return policy: you have 30 days from delivery to return, and you get a full refund, minus return shipping, only if the product is unopened. If the bottle is open, the seller may offer an exchange or store credit instead. Email support@jackedfactory.com to say you intend to return. Report a missing or damaged item within 10 days. Refunds go to the card used for the order and can take up to two billing cycles to appear. The order page should confirm how this applies to each product.
Burn-XT Max's page lists a “100% Hassle-Free Money-Back Guarantee” among its key benefits. Read the return terms above alongside it, because the store-credit option applies to opened bottles. One Burn-XT reviewer on the page says they bought through Amazon, opened the package, and were told they were not eligible for the 30-day guarantee.
Burn-XT Max's page offers free USA shipping on recurring subscription orders. Before you subscribe, check the cancellation steps on the order page.
What do buyers say in reviews?
These are the figures each seller shows on its page. Burn-XT Max's page shows 6 reviews averaging 5 stars. One reviewer says they take one pill per meal, count calories, and feel the pills burn the extra calorie fat.
Burn-XT's page shows 4.7 stars from 409 reviews, with 82% five-star and 3% one-star. One reviewer says the newer version, at 135 mg of caffeine per capsule, gave them anxiety and dry mouth at 270 mg a serving. Another says they saw no results after 16 days. A third says they saw progress after a couple of weeks.
Will either one help me lose weight?
Set For Set says that a calorie-reduced diet and regular exercise are needed for faster results with Burn XT. MedlinePlus, from the U.S. National Library of Medicine, puts the basics plainly: MedlinePlus guide to burning more calories says if you are trying to lose weight, you need to cut back on how many calories you eat, and you can boost your efforts by burning more every day. For a 170-pound person, it lists 186 calories an hour standing and 139 sitting, and 371 walking briskly versus 324 at a moderate pace.
A 1993 review in Postgraduate Medicine, indexed by PubMed, notes that the expected weight loss often does not occur even when a patient seems to follow the plan, and it suggests doctors take a more active role. That is why the routine matters most. Meals, water, movement and tracking are the parts you control with either product. For a full daily plan, read the citrusburn weight loss guide.
If you lose weight without trying, see a provider first. The Cleveland Clinic guide to unexplained weight loss says always see a healthcare provider if you lose weight without trying.
Which one suits you?
- Burn-XT suits you if you want the shorter label with five ingredients, a two-capsule serving and the 3-day starting directions, and you are comfortable with 270 mg of caffeine per serving.
- Burn-XT Max suits you if you want the extra ingredients on its label, the subscription discount and 3 capsules a day as its regular use.
- If you are sensitive to caffeine, look at both labels first. Max lists 250 mg of PurCaf without a serving size, and Burn-XT lists 270 mg per two capsules.
